On November 5, 2015, LMCB celebrated 85 years of giving with a gala appreciation night.
Generous support of our sponsor representatives from many of the local Christmas Bureaus attended, as did other community partners; everyone whom attended had a very good time. The venue, food and entertainment were amazing. Our speakers had compelling stories of why and how the LMCB impacts them.
For our first event of this kind, and our only 85th anniversary ever, it was a very successful event!
The 2015 Toy Run was a roaring success with over 3,500 motorcyclists. The event brought in cash donations in excess of $20,000 and 2,100 toys. We would like to than the hundreds of volunteers and sponsors including: the BC Coalition of Motorcyclists, Honda, Trev Deeley Motorcycles, Harley Davidson, Whalley Printers, McNeney and McNeney Barristers & Solicitors, the City of Coquitlam as well as Coquitlam Centre, where it all started, and the PNE where we had a resounding finish. As well we are grateful to the Cities of Burnaby, Coquitlam, Port Moody and Vancouver for enabling the event.
